Today is Day 14 of DWG and I'm loving all that God is showing me over the past two weeks.
If we are to have an impact in this world, we need to stand out, not fit in. We need to be and embrace who God created us to be. Because when we are uniquely, authentically us, we will be set apart.
We are called not to be conformed to the crowds, but to be transformed to One. Jesus didn't fit in. He wasn't one of the crowd. He was who He was. And who He was changed the world.
We are called to be a light to the world, a city on a hill, a lamp on a stand. Our light should be visible for others. Our light should be a beacon in the dark.
We need to use our gifts, share our story, speak what God has put on our hearts, do what He's moving us to do, go where He's sending us, help, serve and do good to others, make Him known, etc.
The purpose of light is to allow something to be seen. God is the Creator of light. He is light and He is in the light.
In the beginning, when there was only darkness, God created the light and called it good. Because there is light, we can see God.
When our light is shining pure and bright, people will see Him in us and they will praise and be in awe of God.
That is why we are here - to bring glory to God in all that we do!
