It's Already In You

Wow, I can't believe it's already Day 20 of DWG. Where does the time go?

Day 20 is all about our story, how God works in our story and how our story gives us keys to what God is calling us to do.

When I was doing this study, and reading about Moses' life, his calling made sense in light of his story. And my takeaway is that IT'S ALREADY IN YOU.

Moses was a rescuer/deliverer at heart. He was rescued by Pharaoh's daughter when he was a baby. He watched his people experiencing affliction and I could imagine it broke his heart. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people, and went and struck him down (probably in revenge). He wanted to intervene when the two Hebrews were fighting each other. He rescued Jethro's daughters from the shepherds who were trying to drive them away from the well. He was also a shepherd which taught him much about leading and rescuing and watching over the flock.

We are, at heart, what God is calling us to do. Our calling is personal to us. It's personal for us.
