Later Is Where The Fruit Is

It was another curl up on the couch in a warm blanket with God kinda morning!

One of my takeaways from Day 3 is 'LATER ON' IS WHERE THE FRUIT IS.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.~ Hebrews 12:11

There is so much power in those two words "later on". Going through hardship is not fun. I don't enjoy it. I don't beg God to bring it on. But, it's discipline. It's training me. It's refining me. It's doing something in me that I will be grateful for 'later on".

It's producing fruit, a harvest of righteousness and peace if I allow myself to be trained by it. And it's preparing me for what is to come "later on"!
