Spiritually Blessed

It's Day 11 of DWG and my I was reminded that we are richly blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.

Physical and material blessings perish, spoil and fade. We may lose a job. Money may run out. Our health may deteriorate. Our home depreciates. Our car may get stolen. We may lose a loved one.

But, spiritual blessings are eternal. They're not earthly blessings that we can lose or run out of.

Ephesians 1:3-14 lists all of these blessings. We are rich in purpose, grace, redemption, forgiveness, revelation, hope and the Spirit.

Our view of blessings may be very different, though. Blessings to us may be a husband, a nice house, a fancy car, a fat bank account, the ideal career or business, trendy clothes, vacation home, etc.

All of those things are great, but they don't fulfill us. Because if that's all we have, what happens when it's gone?

We have EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ. God isn't holding anything back from us. He's blessed us with the most important, the most integral, the most rewarding and fulfilling blessings that we'll ever need.
